If you’d like to visit a City of London Academy local to you, then you can request a School Experience visit through the same GOV.UK portal you will use to apply for teacher training. Our School Experience visits provide a great opportunity to meet our staff and students, gain first-hand experience of the culture and ethos of our academies, and find out more about our teacher training routes.
How to apply
- An undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
- Subject knowledge demonstrated through degree, A-levels, or relevant experience
- GCSEs in English and maths (Grade 4/C or above)
- For primary teaching: Grade 4/C or above in a science GCSE
- Pending GCSEs or Functional Skills qualifications are not accepted.
- International qualifications will need to be verified by UK ENIC and meet the same standards as UK qualifications.
