Mark Emmerson awarded OBE in New Year’s Honours
Published: Tue 31 December 2024Chief Executive of City of London Academies Trust, Mark Emmerson, has been recognised in the New Year’s Honours, awarded an OBE for his services to education.
Upon receiving news of this award, Mark Emmerson said, “It is a great privilege to receive this honour alongside so many people who deliver life-changing educational experiences for young people. The passion and commitment of our teachers, leaders and support staff has enabled City of London Academies Trust to become the fastest improving academy chain nationally – they are the ones who work tirelessly to provide wonderful educational experiences for our young people across some of the most disadvantaged London communities.”
